Today you are one step closer to a new you where you feel empowered and on a positive path to growth and well-being.
My goal is to help individuals, couples and families uncover their true potential and to lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will work to understand and change long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you or your relationships back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
I am a licensed clinical social worker specializing in adult, couples and family therapy. I completed my masters degree at Fordham University's Graduate School of Social Work. At the Training Institute for Mental Health, I completed additional training in a 4-year program in psychoanalysis and psychotherapy for individuals, couples and families.
Currently, I maintain a practice in Manhasset, NY and teach and supervise students at the Training Institute for Mental Health in New York City. In another arena, I serve on the board of a non for profit organization, Hugs Across America, which provides teddy bears for traumatized children. I am a member of the Psychoanalytic Practitioners of Long Island, as well as a member of the American Association for Clinical Social Workers.
If you're looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you're just ready to move in a new direction in your life, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.
