Today, you are one step closer to a new you, feeling empowered and on a positive path to growth and well-being.
I specialize in anxiety, disordered eating, perfectionism, sexual assault, intimacy issues, depression, and trauma, including a history of childhood abuse and neglect and those suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. My practice is open to individual clients from teens, young adults to adults.
My goal as your therapist is to help you uncover your true potential and for you to lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will work to understand and change long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you and your relationships back from experiencing more fulfillment and greater meaning.
Having the time and space for you to feel understood and heard can lead to lasting change in the discovery of new ways to express and cope with your emotions, as well as ending abusive cycles in relationships with yourself, family, and friends.
I am a licensed clinical social worker specializing in psychodynamic therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD.
